The countdown of Sugar Mas 54 has already begun, with the announcement of the ultimate Slogan Competition. The St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival has encouraged the citizens to participate in the competition, as they are hunting for the most creative and catchy slogan that captures the essence of the vibrant culture and traditions of the Federation.
Shedding light on the slogan competition, the St. Kitts and Nevis Carnival Committee shared the essential requirements. They noted that they are looking for a perfect slogan which is not just concise and clear but also creative and catchy enough to attract thousands of revellers. The authorities have therefore, asked the interested citizen to submit their entries to the official website of the SKN Carnival Committee.
The last date to submit their entries is Tuesday, 22nd April, 2025. Following that, no entries will be accepted, said the Committee. “You are invited to submit entries for Sugas Mas 54 Slogan Contest. Be creative, catchy and no longer than 10 syllables,” said the St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival.
The winner of the competition will be presented with EC$500 in cash and a free entry to attend all the National Carnival events for the highly-anticipated Sugar Mas 54.
The Minister of Creative Industries of St. Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins also encouraged citizens to participate at the event. They noted, “The countdown to Sugar Mas 54 has begun, and we need YOU to help shape the celebration! Think you have the perfect slogan that captures the spirit of our National Carnival? Now’s your chance to make your mark.”
The Minister noted that they are looking for a unique slogan which exceeds the excitement of the revellers for the next edition of Sugar Mas. “Get ready for the biggest celebration of culture, music, and revelry! Stay tuned for event announcements, registration details, and all the excitement leading up to Sugar Mas 54!”
Along with that, the St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee has also opened the registration for the Miss. St. Kitts and Nevis Pageant. The event brings young ladies from all over the St. Kitts and Nevis to showcase their charm, elegance and beauty.
The authorities noted that they have opened registration and are looking for a bold, intelligent, talented and fierce young ladies between the ages of 18-26. The Committee encouraged girls and asked them to utilize this platform to shine. The winner of the pageant will be provided with a $25,000 cash prize and lots more prizes & surprises.

Following the successful execution of Sugar Mas 53, the authorities are looking forward for the upcoming edition. Sugar Mas is considered as one of the biggest festivities of St. Kitts and Nevis, which is known for attracting thousands of visitors and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Federation.
The Sugar Mas is a month-long celebration which brings people of the Federation together, celebrating diverse array of music, dance and celebrating the vibrant culture and traditions of the nation.
