St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Team has secured an impressive 20th position among the 190 countries at the 2024 ‘FIRST’ Global Robotics Olympics and has claimed the first spot in the entire Caribbean.
The FIRST Global Robotics Olympics Championship is currently being hosted in Athens, Greece, and St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Team is stunning everyone with their performances at the event.
The SKN Team has played four matches so far and has been performing incredibly well at the tournament and ranked with a score of 90.33 in total. The robotics championship is proceeding and the SKN Team is yet to play more matches to secure their place in the finals.
Reportedly, Team India has been doing incredible with a score of 128.5 following which is Team United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Team Kazakhstan securing the top places among the competing 190 nations.
Seven more rounds are yet in line to be played and notably, the next match will take place tomorrow, September 29, 2024.
The team is to play six more matches today and the team has shared their glimpses working hard and making final adjustments for their next match at the 2024 FIRST Global Robotics Olympics.
With more matches, yet to be played, greater success is in cards for the St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association (SKNRA).
Significantly, this year the event is being held under the theme ‘Feeding the Future’ which has been put in place to provide the participants with valuable knowledge and about the Sustainable Agriculture Practices.
Notably, last night, all the participating experiences a magical evening at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, featuring a parade of traditional clothing from each participating country and a delicious meal highlighting Greek specialities.
