According to deputy foreign minister of Ukraine, the transcripts which were recovered from the black boxes of a Ukrainian jet which was accidentally shot down by Iran on January 8, this year, has confirmed the fact of illegal interference with the plane.
Yevhenii Yenin gave these remarks on Friday, a day after when an international team examined the flight recorders from the jet which was shot down by Iran and a preliminary analysis of the data was completed in France.
Yenin wrote on Twitter that he was grateful to all the partners who helped in bringing this moment closer. Black boxes from the jet #PS752 were deciphered and read out successfully. The transcript confirmed that there was an illegal interference with the plane.
He also said that Kyiv was expecting a delegation from Iran to visit Ukraine for talks next week.
The Iranian forces have said that they downed the Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737 jet after they mistook it for a missile at a time of high tensions between the United States and Iran.
All 176 people on board the plane were killed.
Dmytro Kuleba, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, said this month that it was too soon to blame human error for the downing of the aircraft and that many questions were still unanswered.
A team of investigators met this week at Bureau for Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety of France, in Paris, to start the extraction of the data.
Katy Fox, the chair of the TSB of Canada, said on Thursday that the preliminary data analysis and download was an important milestone in what must be a transparent and thorough safety investigation.
She said in a statement that the work in Paris was done, but the investigation is far from over.
