The most anticipated of the Nevis Culturama Festival, Miss Caribbean Culture Queen concluded only hours ago and the results for the event have been declared. The First federal Credit Union sponsored the event. The lineup for the event included the following nine beauties competing for the title of the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen from across the caribbean.
- Miss Nevis-Shamarley Newton
- Miss Dominica-Adicia Burton
- Miss St Kitts Shafeyah Guishard
- Miss Trinidad & Tobago-Chronna Khan
- Miss St. Thomas – Lamonee Morris
- Miss St. Croix-Tatyana Massiah
- Miss Guyana – Shemina Peroune
- Miss St Maarten Tasyanna Clifton
- Miss St Vincent & the Grenadines-Jada Ross
The final results were:
Miss St. Thomas – Lamonee Morris was announced the 2nd Runner Up with a total of 1423 points
Miss St Vincent & the Grenadines-Jada Ross was announced the first runner up with a total of 1454 points
Miss Guyana – Shemina Peroune was announced the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen after amassing 1462 points
The nine beauties competed gracefully in the various rounds of the pageant. However, the following delegates from across the region claimed the spots of the top 5.
- Miss St Vincent & the Grenadines-Jada Ross
- Miss St. Thomas – Lamonee Morris
- Miss Trinidad & Tobago-Chronna Khan
- Miss Guyana – Shemina Peroune
- Miss St. Croix-Tatyana Massiah
The organizers of the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen applauded the various contestants who have managed to make it to the top 5 in the competition. Meanwhile, the results for the segments are as follows:
- Miss Congeniality Award: Trinidad & Tobago-Chronna Khan
- Miss Photogenic award: Miss Guyana – Shemina Peroune
- Best Promotional Video: Miss St. Thomas – Lamonee Morris
The following contestants won the judged segments:
- Best Interview: Miss Guyana – Shemina Peroune. She recieved 329 Points
- Best talent: Miss St Vincent & the Grenadines-Jada Ross. She recieved 325 points.
- Best Swimwear: Miss St. Croix-Tatyana Massiah, She recieved 307 points
- Best Evening Wear Award: Miss St. Thomas – Lamonee Morris, She recieved
- Best Question and Answer: Miss Trinidad & Tobago-Chronna Khan
The top Three Contestants are:
- Miss St. Thomas – Lamonee Morris
- Miss Guyana – Shemina Peroune
- Miss St Vincent & the Grenadines-Jada Ross
