St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew met with the Business and Professional Women (BPW) International Congress on Tuesday
The visit led to the hosting of the Business and Professional Women International Triennial Congress at the St Kitts Marriott Resort and Royal Beach Casino from November 17 to 21, 2024.
The theme of the event is “New Actions through Cooperation”. More than 450 women will attend the event.
The delegation was led by Dr Catherine Bosshart, President of Business Professional Women (BPW). She emphasised the organisation’s work and its plans to organise the Business and Professional Women (BPW) International Congress in St Kitts and Nevis in November 2024.

The BPW International Congress, the General Assembly, takes place every three years. This marks the beginning and ending of the Triennium for the BPW International Executive.
The Regional Conference is an event that marks a historical global and regional moment. The main goal of the BPW is to promote the importance of business and professionalism among women in Latin America.
This will bring significant changes in the New World Order, which aims at economic and social development under sustainable and environmentally friendly policies. Further, the initiative will also help preserve planet Earth and Mankind.
The executive had decided with a majority vote to move the congress from Argentina to St Kitts.
Dawne Williams stated that this event would allow the women to participate in the congress, which will provide not only self-advancement but also a chance to discover Paradise: St Kitts and Nevis.
