Additionally, she held bilateral courtesy calls concerning upcoming elections on major UN councils.

Nerys attended the grand reception in honour of Taiwan’s 111th National Day celebrations and participated in the high-level talks commemorating the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the India-United Nations Development Partnership Fund.

Further, she began conversations with some in the leadership of our core diaspora groups here in New York.

In the update shared by Nerys, she said that she was looking forward with excitement to the ceremony to present my credentials to the UN Secretary-General next week.

Following this, she plans to begin a series of outreach to get to know my fellow PR colleagues. She will also be introduced to some key personalities and agency heads within the UN system.

According to the UN Permanent Representative of St Kitts and Nevis, the United Nations is where the world meets. As such, she says that I intend to do my utmost to ensure that St Kitts and Nevis fully maximizes its presence and participation by pursuing ambitious initiatives to strengthen international solidarity and multilateralism.
