President of the Republic of Kiribati, His Excellency Beretitenti Taneti Maamau, has extended congratulations and best wishes to the Government as well as the people of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis on the 37th Anniversary of Independence of the Federation which is observed on September 19.
In a congratulatory message to Governor-General of St. Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency Sir Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton and Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, His Excellency Beretitenti Taneti Maamau said that on behalf of the people and the Government of the Republic of Kiribati, he has the greatest honour to extend sincere congratulations to the people and Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis on the occasion of the Independence Day on September 19.
President Taneti Maamau offered traditional blessings to St. Kitts and Nevis as he expressed an interest in deepening the mutual relations.
He added that as he starts his second term in office, he reaffirms his Government’s commitment of maintaining and strengthening the mutual partnerships of the two countries and people and offer traditional blessings of Kiribati, Te Mauri, Te Raoi ao Te Tabomoa which means good health, peace and prosperity.
Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis enjoy a visa-free access to the Republic of Kiribati for 90 days.
