The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force has arrested three criminals on different charges in the first week of December. The Police arrested three fugitives on three separate counts, that are: cannabis importation, ammunition possession and Manslaughter.
Keon Hewlett was charged for cannabis importation.
The Police have arrested and charged Keon Hewlett of College Housing, Basseterre, St. Kitts, on two (2) warrants for the offences of Importation and Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply.
St Kitts and Nevis Customs & Excise Department has charged Hewlett for the offences of
- Submitting a False Declaration to a Customs Officer,
- Importation of a quantity of Cannabis Sativa.
- Importation of Restricted Goods to wit Cannabis Sativa.
- Knowingly Attempting to Evade Customs Fraudulently.
The offences were committed at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport on December 2, 2023. Hewlett’s charges were registered at the Basseterre Police Station on December 4, 2023
Jahvin Lake was charged with ammunition possession.
A resident of Pleasant View, Shadwell, Jahvin Lake, St Kitts, faces legal trouble after being charged with possession of ammunition. The St. Kitts police acted decisively and arrested Lake Jahvin for the alleged crime, which took place on November 30, 2023.

Former Police Officer Charged with Manslaughter
The Police have arrested and charged former Police officer Dijon Warner of Conaree Village, St Kitts. Warner was accused of the offence of Manslaughter, which was committed on June 23, 2016, at Cayon Street against deceased former Police Officer Brian Pacquette.
Warner previously stayed in the United States, having left the Federation in 2016. He departed at the Robert L Bradshaw International Airport on November 29, 2023, after serving a five (5)-year sentence in a U.S. detention facility.
Warner was taken into Police custody and transported to the Basseterre Police Station, where he was charged.
