The Department of Youth Empowerment in St Kitts has announced the Summer Residential Camp for the community’s children aged 8 to 16. The summer season has started in St Kitts, and the Department of youth empowerment has begun the preparation for the annual event. The summer camps will help the children who participate in this initiative to engage in several activities that will help in the all-around development of the children.
The St Kitts Department of Youth Empowerment shared that they have started the preparation for the Summer Residential camp. The camp will begin on July 16, 2023, and last through the month. The residential centre will end on July 30, 2023. The event is open for children between the ages of 8 years to 15 years. The department encourages the parents of interested children to get the forms of admission.
During the summer residential camp, the children will get the opportunity to interact with several other children and develop their social skills and etiquette. The children will engage in several fruitful activities, including various Outdoor games. Other events will include:
- How do I summit
- Pool Day
- Sports Day
- Treasure hunts and several other events.
St Kitts Department of Youth Empowerment shared some guidelines for the parents. They stated that as they continue our preparations for our Annual Residential Summer Camp. The theme for the summer camp is thanking everyone who paved the way throughout our history, Summer Camp 40: Cheers to Continuity.
The Department of Youth Empowerment shared that as of Thursday, June 1, 2023, The camp fee will be $115 per child. The authorities have also claimed that they will make special arrangements for children coming to the summer residential camp from the same household. The department further noted that they are looking forward to welcoming your children with two weeks of fun and excitement.
