More than ten years ago, the establishment of the Returning Citizens Secretariat marked the beginning of a new chapter in recognizing and celebrating the significant contributions of returning citizens in St Kitts And Nevis. In forming the socio-economic structure of Kitts and Nevis. This newly launched website is designed to provide returning residents with all the information, essential advice and practical support they need to facilitate a smooth resettlement journey.
Eligible individuals receive tax-free relief on personal and household items brought into certain countries, making the return process even easier and more welcoming.
Dr Marcus, Cabinet Secretary, highlighted that the new website would serve as a central source of information.
He noted, “We welcome all returning citizens as you step back into your beloved homeland. Our dedicated website is your primary source of important information and resources to facilitate your reintegration into St Kitts and Nevis. We understand that returning after a period abroad is a journey full of various emotions. This Welcome Portal is designed to welcome you with open arms, providing you with the practical advice, cultural understanding and support you need to blend back into the tapestry of your nation seamlessly”.
Dr. Natta highlighted that the moment has come for citizens to return to their homeland and start a new chapter. In addition, he emphasized that St Kitts and Nevis is ready to assist these citizens at all stages of their journey.
