The St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association (SKNRA) has taken to their social media account to express their delight in participating in the Anguilla Alumni Association STEAM Summer programme. During the event, SKNRA has decided to send in some of their expert members to provide robotics and coding training in Java.
The association have called the Anguilla Alumni Association STEAM Summer programme an immersive educational initiative. The summer programme will occur in Anguilla from August 14 to 18, 2023.
The St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association recieved a warm and sincere invitation from Anguilla Alumni Association. Through the summer initiative, they seek to establish a collaborative relationship to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education across the region.
The SKNRA believes that the summer workshop training will prove tio be a significant step towards fostering connections with other OECS countries. According to the association, students from all over Anguilla will participate to enhance their robotics, coding, and automation technologies skills.
During the training sessions, students will have the unique opportunity to engage with experienced members of SKNRA. These members are highly well-versed in robotics and coding in Java. The team of the St Kitts and Nevis Robotics asserted that through this initiative, they seek to inspire young minds, cultivate interest in technology.
They will also empower the next generation with the skills necessary for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
During this partnership initiative, the two associations will sign a formal partnership agreement between. Dr Ricardo Neil, Chairman of SKNRA, will sign the agreement. He is a prominent figure in the robotics and coding community. This act marks the commitment of both organizations to collaborate on future endeavors that promote education, innovation, and regional cooperation.
