The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, recently visited the Apsaras Calypso development in St James. He was accompanied by the Cabinet of Ministers of St Kitts and Nevis, including Ministers Spencer Brand, Eric Evelyn, Jahnel Nisbett and Troy Liburd. The Premier shared the update from this significant trip to St James on his social media account.
As per the update shared by Premier Mark Brantley, the development is a multi-million dollar foreign direct investment into Nevis. The project is being implemented using a non-traditional design and construction technique. Accordingly, the Premier of Nevis and the members of his cabinet of Nevis had the chance to witness firsthand the progress the authorities are making in implementing the project using non-traditional design and construction techniques.
Premier Mark Brantley applauded the authorities responsible for implementing the project, which brought millions of dollars worth of foreign direct investment to the country. He confessed that the cabinet of Nevis is very impressed with the work thus far.
Premier Brantley expressed that the members of the cabinet are looking forward to the completion of this project. The Premier of Nevis informed the people about the positive influence that the project is expected to bring to the people of Nevis. He asserted that the construction of the development project has created and provided many jobs the people of Nevis. The completion of the project will further result in the creation of more employment for the people of Nevis.
Further, Mark Brantley shared through his social media account that he and the cabinet are especially pleased to hear about the massive agricultural component of this project. As per the Concerned Citizens Movement leader, the project will contribute significantly to food sovereignty in Nevis and the wider Federation.
The project will benefit the people of Nevis tremendously through their numerous employment opportunities and benefit the Federation’s agriculture sector. Premier Brantley shared several images of the project, providing the people of Nevis the opportunity to get a glimpse into the project.
