Dr Terrance Drew, the prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the National Caribbean Insurance Company Limited. The institution is celebrating 50 years of service. On the occasion of their golden jubilee celebrations, the organization hosted a church service at Antioch Baptist Church.

Prime Minister Dr Drew attended the church service on Sunday, October 1, 2023. The various National Caribbean Insurance Company Limited staff members were present at the event. The celebratory service was hosted under the theme: “Living in the power of transformation. At 50, we stand tall, NCI cares for all”.

Dr Drew was at the event in his capacity as the Minister of Social Security. In this role, he manages the country’s social security funds, initiatives and plans. These include the Poverty Alleviation Programme (PAP), health and life insurance companies and more.

PM Terrance Drew shared some images from his excursion to the church service. At the same time, he shared the significance of the theme of the celebration. According to the Prime Minister and Minister of Social Security, This year’s theme encapsulates the spirit and vision that has driven NCI’s invaluable contributions to our nation.

The organization has served the people of St Kitts and Nevis for five decades. The organization has worked with the people of the country. They have done their best to ensure no person in the country is left behind.

In line with this, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew applauded the organization for five decades of service.

The Prime Minister said, “Thank you, NCI for your dedication to caring for our nation’s people.” He added that their care for the people of the island is a testament to the values that the government holds dear. These values are – compassion, inclusivity, and the unwavering belief that no one in our Federation should be left behind.

Dr Terrance Drew delivered a brief address during the church service and congratulated the NCI on reaching this milestone.
