Basseterre, St. Kitts: Konris G M Maynard, Minister of Public Infrastructure et al., extends his sincere thanks to the Public Works Department of St. Kitts. They have played a crucial role in the development of the road infrastructure and living standards of the community.
In the previous two years, the Public Works Department has taken up and successfully concluded development and construction works in several communities. Their dedication to the welfare of the people has resulted in the enhancement of the overall quality of the road infrastructure.
The construction projects of roads and other infrastructure have also resulted in better connectivity between the various communities. The Minister of Public Infrastructure et al. acknowledged the consistent hard work and dedication of the Public Works Department.
Accordingly, he shared some glimpses from the progress at the McKnight Street, Ottley’s Village where a paving project is currently in progress. The Public Works Department of St. Kitts announced that it has completed 80% of the Paving Project.
The announcement from the department was met with great enthusiasm by the members of the community and Minister Konris Maynard. He applauded the efforts of the workers who were engaged in the project.
Following this announcement, Minister Konris Maynard, through his social media, expressed his pride and gratitude and paid a big shoutout to the Public Works Department. He said that he was extremely proud of the hard work and dedication the team consistently demonstrated.
“From paving to repairing roads, their efforts are truly transforming our communities,” Minister of Public Infrastructure, Domestic Transport, et al. said.
