Miss Culture Swimsuit and Mr Kool Pageant, which is part of the Nevis Culturama Festival lineup, is scheduled for July 27. The pageant which will feature five male and five female contestants is a popular attraction in the Culturama lineup.
With less than four weeks for the pageant, the countdown has already started with the announcement of the eight contestants who will be competing in the pageant. Each girl and boy who has been shortlisted for the pageant has worked hard in order to be selected for the remarkable opportunity as part of the Nevis Culturama Festival lineup.
The participants, who will be competing for the title of Miss Culture Swimsuit and Mr Kool are being backed by businesses across Nevis. These participants will act as ambassadors of the businesses in exchange for their support and encouragement for the games.
The five contestants who will be competing in the Miss Culture Swimsuit Pageant are:
- Contestant 1: Karina Dore
- Contestant 2: T Carli Edwards
- Contestant 3: Keedencia Harris
- Contestant 4: Jaymi Peets.
Contestant 1, Dore is being supported by Nevis Housing and Land Development Corporation
Contestant 2, Edwards is backed by Hinds Electrical and Equipment Services
Contestant 3, Ms Harris is being sponsored by Nevis Solid Waste Management Authority
Contestant 4, Jaymi was being backed by Stage Right.
The men who will be competing for the title of Mr Cool on the other hand are:
- Contestant 1: Jadan Liburd
- Contestant 2: Voigel Marsham
- Contestant 3: Orzel Webbe
- Contestant 4: Joestam Eddy
The Bank of Nevis is sponsoring the pageant journey for the first contestant. The second contestant is being backed by Nevis Cultural Development Foundation
Third and Fourth contestants are backed by the Nevis Tourism Authority and Zanzi Bar respectively. The teams backing each contestant will be getting their brand promotion through the faces of this year’s Miss Culture Swimsuit and Mr Kool Pageant.
The young men and women chosen for this pageant have moved through several rounds of preparation to be ready for the stage where they will eventually show their talent and win over their fans.
The Nevis Culturama Festival is a very popular summer event organised within Nevis every year. The festival is being hosted in Nevis for more than half a century.l
