St. Kitts and Nevis: The Agri Night Market Music Festival hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture has once again recorded huge success. The event was held in Basseterre Public Market on Wednesday, 26 June, 2024.

The night of the festival was a collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture, Small Business Development, and the St. Kitts Music Festival Committee.

The event featured the vendors, farmers, fishers, meat producers, small business owners and agro processors and music lovers from across the country to showcase, advertise, and sell their products.

The successful event attracted hundreds of citizens and residents. The Minister of Agriculture, Samal Duggins also attended the event and stopped by at the event to patronize the local vendors and enjoy the hospitality and the atmosphere.

According to the information provided by the Ministry, the event featured a karaoke competition that turned out to be one of the major highlights with the Xplosive Band setting the stage on fire.

The tickets for the much-awaited St. Kitts Music festival were also rewarded to the winners throughout the Agri Night Market Music Festival who participated in the karaoke competition.

The attendees also saw the entertainment by DJ Suga Bowl and EK Real Right. They played the music to which the visitors enjoyed, throughout the thrilling night.

The night market event saw a huge number of visitors and they shared their joyous experience and how they benefited from the wide range of products available at discounted prices.

Vendors sold local produce, fresh fish and meat, lobster, local cuisine, cane juice and a lot more at the prices the people had never seen before.

Notably, the Ministry of Agriculture of St. Kitts and Nevis hosts such night market events every month, especially during some special occasions, also for vendors and citizens to benefit from the homegrown products.

The Agri Night Market Music Festival made it possible for both the producers and buyers of St. Kitts and Nevis to enjoy and profit at the same time.
