Trinidad and Tobago: The United National Congress (UNC) San Fernando-West Constituency Executive has noted with grave concern the Member of Parliament for San Fernando West failure as an MP but also as the Attorney General.
He added that Faris cannot be seen anywhere throughout his constituency unless there is a camera man to record him. “Many of his constituents are in dire circumstance because of the mismanagement of the country’s affairs by PNM. Faris is incapable of being empathetic with the people who elected him,” he asserted.
“Faris has also brought our parliament into disrepute by constantly bringing to the honourable house failed and amateur pieces of legislation, one can only assume that it was drafted in crayons. As Attorney General there is nothing that he can boast about because he is legally dysfunctional based on his failed track record. This must not be condoned nor accepted. It is one thing to be a failed MP but another to be a failed AG, double whammy!”
Apart from this, the United National Congress San Fernando-West Constituency Executive expressed their support to the Opposition Leader, Kamla Persad Bissessar, SC on holding the AG to account on his actions, “we join in calling for his immediate resignation.”
