Prime Minister Allen M. Chastanet, is at present joined in to a High-Level Dialog between Eastern Caribbean countries and the World Bank Group’s International Development Association (IDA).

The motivation behind the two-day meeting, being held at the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel in Miami, is for key exchange on the needs for Saint Lucia and aggregately for the whole region, just as how support from the World Bank Group lines up with present and future needs of the nations.

Framing some portion of Saint Lucia’s designation is Minister for Education, Innovation, Gender Relations and Sustainable Development, Honorable Dr. Hurricane T.C. Rigobert, Permanent Secretary in the Department of Economics Claudius Emmanuel, Ag. Chief of Financial Administration Nadia Wells Hyacinth and National Integrated Planning and Program (NIPP) Unit Director Howard Wells.

Among the issues for conversation are: Prospects and drivers of development in the OECS, Upcoming medium term territorial system and the Energy blend in the Caribbean and the possibilities for Renewable
