The members of the St Kitts Tourism Authority have been meeting with travel advisors, travel agents and other partners of the tourism sector. The SKTA has been conducting marketing and outreach events in Florida and Puerto Rico. 

Allison Schultz, who serves as the Southeast United States Representative at the St. Kitts Tourism Authority was present at the American  Society Advisors (ASTA)Travel Show in Ocala in Florida. She was representing St Kitts and Nevis at the event and promoting the island for its tourism product. 

The officials have shared that the meeting is part of the SKTA’s mandate to promote the destination to various  markets in the world. The Ministry has shared that they want to take the tourism offerings of St Kitts to several more markets and increase exposure for the small island nation. 

The officials have shared that the representatives of St Kitts Tourism Authority took the time to interact one on one with travel advisors and industry partners. 

The officials have shared that the they want to improve St Kitts’s destination value as an year round destination. 

The officials have shared that the members of the community will be given the opportunity to share some views on the matter. The officials have shared that it is important for the people of the island to make sure that the world knows about St Kitts and its offerings as a comparatively renowned destination. 

The SKTA wants to make sure travellers continue to choose to visit the island all around the year. They are trying to improve and strengthen their partnership in Puerto Rico. 

The SKTA representatives attended a private event hosted by TWS La Feria de Viages to promote St Kitts-Puerto Rico Partnerships.

SKTA says that this serves as a very important platform to promote St. Kitts’ product offerings and vibrant cultural experiences. The representatives have the opportunity to interact with over 80 travel agents at this event.

The tourism industry continues to see positive impacts of the meetings with the increase in airlift and cruise arrivals.
