The Security Forces United Football Club recently concluded its 3rd Annual Awards Ceremony at the CUNA Conference Room, Wilkin Street, Fortlands in Basseterre. The Club shared the updates regarding the ceremony online yesterday. The main objective of the ceremony was to celebrate the success of the 2025-2026 session
The award ceremony was held on Saturday July 25, 2026. During the ceremony the club acknowledged and appreciated everyone’s efforts who were connected to the club through any way including players, teams, coaches, parents, sponsors and supporters. In the ceremony club felicitated the individuals and groups within the six categories.
In the award ceremony the club recognised the St. Kitts Co-operative Credit Union U13 boys team as they become champions in the SKNFA U13 league tournament for the first time in club history. The Baley Construction Inc Senior Women’s team also made history in the club history and for that they were felicitated for earning a place in the final four of Elvis Star Browne Women’s League tournament.
Moreover, the Elco Lid Senior Men’s Team was recognized for their outstanding performance in the SKNFA Division One League and the team consisted of U17 players very young from the opponents teams. In the award ceremony club also commended the SDAPS Wednesday After-School Grassroots Program, PCCU Nu Generation Grassroots Program and Management, Coaches and parents.
The club even extended gratitude to the sponsors, executives, coaches, and volunteers for their support. The main sponsors of the club are the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force, St. Kitts Credit Union, Elco Ltd, Baley Construction Inc, Police Cooperative Credit Union, Warners One Stop, Retired Police and Fire Officers Association, Fruit Fusion, Sun Top Visual SKN, and DD Security.
Additionally, Acting Commander Major Kayode Sutton also took part in presenting awards to the recipients. Further the SKNDF mentioned that they felt proud of being one of the sponsors for the Security Forces United Football Club. The SKNDF mentioned that through collaborative partnership SKNDF will continuously support youth development, teamwork and excellence both on and off the field through the Club.
Notably, the SKDF also congratulated all the recipients and Cub for a successful season.
