The Nigerian Association for the St Kitts and Nevis honored several people of the island on Saturday evening, May 23. The people were honored for their contribution for the work that they have done for the Nigerian community.
The honorees have actively worked for and contributed to the growth of the Nigerian community in the Federation. The officials have shared some images from the event on their social media account which had several officials in attendance.
The Investiture Ceremony was held at Windsor University and saw several high level members of the St Kitts and Nevis present at the event. The Nigerian Association for the St Kitts and Nevis recognized Ambassador Rosalyn Hazelle, Apostle Debbie Isaac, Ramesh Mulkanoor, Franklin Dorset, and Gary Liburd.
The officials have shared that over the years, the honorees have served the organisation dedicatedly. The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew was also present at the investiture ceremony.
The other attendants of the event include the Deputy Prime Minister of the country, Dr Geoffrey Hanely and Senior Minister Dr Denzil Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The organisation has shared that the event also underscored the growing relationship and deepening friendship between the people of St Kitts and Nevis and the ph Nigeria people of Nigeria.
The administration of the country has been working with Nigerian government to develop stronger ties between the two nations. The officials have shared that the event reflects the strong cultural and community ties being built between both nations. The officials have highlighted the ancestral connection between the two countries.
The people of St Kitts and Nevis have extended their best wishes to the honorees who have been honored during the event. The attendants of the event, Prime Minister Drew and Deputy Prime Minister Dr Hanley and Minister Dr Denzil Douglas also reshared the images from the event on their respective social media.
