St. Kitts and Nevis Medicinal Cannabis Authority is hosting a leading regional expert in cannabis science and tropical horticulture Dr. Machel A. Emanuel to a high level engagement. The visit of the expert was part of the nation’s growth mandate for the Cannabis sector of the country.
The nation is organizing a series of stakeholder engagements during Emanuel’s presence at the event. The officials have shared they are also working on public education initiatives during the expert visit.

The expert is also scheduled to appear on “Infocus” on ZIZ Television on Wednesday, January 28, 2025. This appearance is also part of the nation’s mandate to grow this sector. The officials have shared that he will also be a featured speaker during a public lecture.
The lecture will be hosted on Tuesday, February 3, “Medicinal Cannabis as a Driver of Sustainable Development for Small Island Caribbean States.” The officials have shared that during this lecture they will explore how they will bring about the growth of the Medicinal Cannabis Sector.
