The National Housing Corporation of St Kitts and Nevis government has given affordable homes to four families of Newtown Community on Saturday. Four families were given homes as part of the government’s affordable housing initiative.
The four families were given the keys of their houses in a handover ceremony organized on Saturday. The officials have shared some images from the event on her social media and congratulated the people who have received new homes from the government support.
The home handover ceremony was attended by several stakeholders and members of the community. The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Geoffrey Hanley, who handles the responsibility for the Ministry of Housing et all, was also present at the event.
Affordable housing was a priority for the people of the nation as they deserve to have homes of their own. The St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party has confirmed that they are dedicated to providing homes to the people.
Three new homeowners were given keys to their homes in the East Street Apartment Building. The event was attended by members of the federal cabinet. The officials from the National Housing Corporation were also present at the event.
