The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis has visited multiple areas in St Peter’s and toured local businesses of the region. The Prime Minister also visited the health centre to check on the progress of the refurbishing.
During his trip to the various sites within the St Peter’s Community, he was also seen at the community centre where the children’s Easter camp was being hosted. Finally, he went to check on the progress of the work being done on the St. Peter’s main road which had been announced during the previous months.
The Prime Minister called St Peter’s “The Great State” emphasizing his efforts to make the community better with his initiatives and projects. The St Peter’s Community is a part of the Prime Minister’s Parliamentary Constituency.
As the Parliamentary Representative of Constituency 8 and Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew has taken several steps to make St Peter’s and other surrounding communities better.
He highlighted that the main road project for St Peter’s had previously been ignored by his predecessors in the government office. However, he has since claimed that the government under his leadership is dedicated to work for the benefit of the people.
He highlighted that under the labour administration, St Peter’s will soon have a rehabilitated road network. The project will help in easing travel from one point to another within the community.
Further, he also shared some images from his visit to the community hall where he interacted with the children. These children, engaged in the Easter camp were happy to see their prime minister and national leader.
The Prime Minister also visited the small businesses that are operating in the community. During his trip, he assured the members of the community that the government was firmly supporting them in their endeavours.
