St. Kitts and Nevis has formalised its diplomatic relations with the Republic of Mozambique in London last week.
Dr. Kevin Isaac, who serves as the High Commissioner for St. Kitts and Nevis, was joined by his Mozambican counterpart, Mr. Filipe Chidumo for the ceremony.
Dr. Isaac said that the signing ceremony “marks another important step in allowing the two countries to build greater awareness about opportunities for the people and to benefit from shared experiences and cooperation.”
Both the Republic of Mozambique and St. Kitts and Nevis are Commonwealth countries. The have worked collaboratively on causes such as sustainable development and small states vulnerability.
Mr. Chidumo praised the importance of formalising relations between the nations as an intent to cement the friendship that exists between them.
