A donation to the Ministry of Health from Canada has not been claimed more than a year later.

Sandy Point-born Mr. Joel Bartlett, who currently lives in Canada, says he has contacted the Ministry of Health multiple times but has had no response.

“I made this post since September 2016. I donated the equipment to the government of St. Kitts and Nevis. They were given to me free of cost, with a value of about CAD$4,000 for the hospitals on the islands,” Mr. Bartlett said in a Facebook post.

“Today the equipment is still in my apartment.”

He further said that in a meeting with the company that provided the equipment to him, he was asked to provide the Vice President of the company an update on the progress of the donation.

“I felt so bad to tell him they never contact me to ship the equipment.”
